Rehabilitation services
Individuals and families work with me in specialized areas of occupational therapy practice.
Together, we dig into the kinds of issues that defy easy answers: from concussion care to financial capability, and driver retirement planning.
The goal is to help my clients live life to the fullest, doing the things that matter most to them.
Concussion care
Living with concussion can take a serious toll on your quality of life. For clients struggling with persistent symptoms, knowing where to turn for help can be a challenge.
I’ll work with you to navigate the health system, manage your symptoms and develop a rehabilitation plan, helping you take the next steps in your concussion recovery.
Driver rehabilitation
Planning to drive
The path to safe and confident driving isn’t the same for everyone. Adapted learning can give future drivers living with neurodiversity, brain injury, or intellectual disability a head start.
We’ll work on executive functioning skills that ready you for the complex task of being on the road.
Planning for driving retirement
Recognizing the warning signs of unsafe driving or health-related changes that impact driving abilities in older adults can lead to tough conversations.
Planning for driving retirement can help you (or a loved one) gain control of your post-driving life.
Financial wellbeing
Are you concerned about a loved one’s ability to manage their finances, possibly as a result of a medical event, age-related changes, or cognitive impairment?
A clinical assessment of everyday financial ability (such as financial reasoning and judgment) can identify strengths and areas of concern.
We’ll develop recommendations to boost your comfort and alleviate worry.
